Why Waste?

About the organization

Why Waste? is a team of like-minded people who are taking water positivity to the world stage by means of innovative education and ideas that bring about a systemic change. It is India’s largest youth-led movement working towards water conservation. They have already impacted over 2 million lives and saved over 10mil litres of water.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Web Development Volunteer
   • Expected to be hands on with fullstack development of website
   • Preferred knowledge of Wordpress & Elementor
   • Duration : 6 months (can be extended)
2. Mobile App Development Volunteer
   • Expected to be hands on with the development and coding of the application as well as supporting backend
   • Prior experience with Flutter is a plus, should have knowledge of React and React Native, Firebase platform, Git, GitHub
   • Duration : 2 months (can be extended)

Time commitment required : 7-8 Hours/week, flexible work hours

Location : Work from home
